Strong words from Cam Ward
“I grew up watching my Dad wake up at 4:30 for a job he didnt like, so if I can’t wake up early and work hard at a job I do like, I shouldn’t be playing Football”
“All odds are against us…”
Dafuq??
You got a week off, playing at your own house, with all your loudass fans and a $3M parabolic roof to make you feel loved, going up against a hospital league team who’s starting practice squad guys and dudes off the street on defense. You’re 7.5 point favorites and every face with two eyes and a pair of nose holes has picked you to win. 🥴
49ers coming off a road trip, no rest, eating pretzels on the plane, spending last night at the Red Roof Inn with a ice machine blowing chunks of frozen water into a metal tray all night long.
Shut your false-victim, damp hanky, BA up.
I’ll give Kiffin credit, he stepped to this guy and said what he had to say to his face. Meanwhile Ben here looked scared for his life then ran to Twitter to talk tough.
@SpiritBen “Kiffin didn’t like the, ‘Can’t turn a hoe into a housewife; hoes don’t act right’ line from the podcast
He sought be out in the tunnel after the game to tell me 🤣”
As a single mother I am saying this:
Men have a sense of balance when it comes to providing routine and discipline but also support, encouragement, and show unwavering dedication to their children. Men also tend to lead with more logic than emotion while still allowing room for their children to feel and express emotions. They also tend to be able to separate their trauma they’re healing from their responsibilities as a father.
A lot of women (not all but a large majority) don’t know how to balance all of these things on top of not allowing their emotions get the better of them. A lot of women also are jealous of their children, harbor spoken or unspoken resentment toward them for a broken home, or refuse to break the cycle of trauma in some capacity. Hell, some women with a partner struggle with this as well but it can become more apparent when single.
