I've seen some people talk about suspension of disbelief. I would've accepted that explanation if not for the fact that the story makes clear the timeline of all happening in one weekend because of the project.

How does that excuse the rushing of some pairings?

This might be a hot take, but I feel like Toby Fox shot himself in the foot by having this whole story take place over the course of a single weekend; a lot of the relationships in the game would make a lot more sense if there were time skips involved.

@DOfficialRalsei I do think it went a little too fast with Susie specifically, there were a lot of scenes where she was completely clueless about falling in love, and now suddenly in the lake she was completely aware that she was in love? It's the dissonance that felt out of line for me.

@DOfficialRalsei I do not hate on the relationship. I do think that scene in the lake between the two of them were nice and cute, and I was fully supporting them in Chapter 2. I'm just not a fan on how they executioned their moment of love in Chapter 5, I think it went a little bit too fast.

@yggdrasilsaltar The explanation, I believe, is that it was a moment of perfect timing (Perhaps premeditated?) Between Kris and the Knight, the moment Kris seals the fountain is when the second fountain made by the Knight then appears, perhaps that's why a Titan didn't appear.
