I just saw a video of someone saying “going to my big girl job with my little girl sorrow” and that shook me to the core, one direction is the a part of attachment we have to our younger selves and probably why this feels so personal
people are not mourning the man liam payne became, they are mourning the man he used to be and the man they grew up with. the man that was part of something that shaped millions of peoples lives.
anxiety can cause intrusive thoughts that take your insecurities/fears from mild levels to severe levels. “i don’t like how i look” can turn into “i’m ugly & no one will ever want me” “i’m a little awkward” can turn into “i’m socially weird & everyone can tell & i need to leave”.
why is it “women shouldn’t be on their phones when they’re walking outside, they shouldn’t be wearing headphones, they should be aware of their surrounds” and not “men shouldn’t RANDOMLY PUNCH WOMEN IN THE FACE” I feel like i’m going crazy
