Rain is expected to linger through the first half of the weekend but Sunday and Monday during the day are trending slightly drier. Still can't rule out a stray shower or two. Looks like we can make a serious dent in our drought conditions though so here to the rain!
Everyone in our viewing area is under the severe category of drought right now. Unfortunately we've only seen 9.48" of precip this year when we usually see about 13.56" by this time (deficit of 4.08"). Our only above normal month was back in January. @fox5dc

We are looking at another stretch of potential severe weather to start off the work week. Monday (3/16/26) will see a strong cold front approach the region once again and spark up storms thanks to the abundance of warmth and moisture. @fox5dc
