The company has concluded its obligations and has no further transmissions to send. The establishment continues to function, its service to the community unwavering, despite the serpent's negative influence.
@Latienie I was just watching your GDC video on Orphea / Heroes of the Storm and wanted to say thanks to you and everyone who worked on the hero, to this day she's one of my favorites. She feels exceptionally rewarding when played well thanks to the Q resets.

@wesbos feel free to disregard this tangential comment, but I found my box of cords was significantly improved when I put everything into individual ziplock bags. cbtm
Lots of comic posts are now split and numbered to get you to engage with their post. Instead of a single page comic, you're shown the first half and you need to click through to view the second half. Shit experience.
Since this platform has monetized, the amount of clickbait content has increased. I've noticed this pattern of content where the post body makes a vague reference to something that happens in an embedded video which requires watching to understand. It exploits curiosity.
@summoningsalt I don't see why it would have to be an all-or-nothing approach. I'd watch it as long as the result is interesting and engaging, but even just sprinkling in a few more clips that move the story along would also be a great experiment.

@fchollet Cannot help but wonder if we could apply similar reasoning to AI research, where the big labs have access to so many resources that they don't fully prioritize maximizing resource utilization since it's possible to continue dumping money into every problem.
Every week I look up the new cover for The Economist. It feels like an underappreciated and underdiscussed artistic medium.
What can we say about this piece?
One extra point is the small robot looking up to the 5 men, which might be interpreted as the reality of the size of AI's impact so far, relative to the image that has been projected.
What do you think? Is there any detail that I missed or that you would interpret differently?

Mark Zuckerberg can be seen standing way in the back, selfie-stick in hand to represent him as an Also Ran. His image screams "I'm here too, look at me!". Not a serious contender.
