After four years full of challenges and hard work, it's time to move on.
I leave with the feeling that the mission is complete. 4 seasons, 3 championships.
I will never forget the love I received from the fans from my very first days.
Catalonia is my place on earth.
Thank you to everyone I met along the way during these beautiful four years.
A special thank you to President Laporta for giving me the chance to live the most incredible chapter of my career.
Barça is back where it belongs.
Visca el Barça. Visca Catalunya 💙❤️

how kobe was being defended for his final 2 points up 18 with 45 seconds left
vs
how bam was being defended for his final 2 points up 24 with 1:23 left
Colin Cowherd on the criticism Bam is receiving for scoring 83 points:
“Bam Adebayo scored 83 points last night. Everybody is attacking him. This is what we do in America. The minute there’s success we have to tear everybody down. 83 is 83. He’s an excellent basketball player. When Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points his team was fouling the Knicks to get extra possessions. When Kobe scored 81 against an awful Raptors team, the Lakers led by 15 with 4:30 left and Kobe scored another 11. Bam had 31 in the 1st! 62 after 3 quarters! It was totally legitimate! Every star in this league has had the chance to play the Wizards and they don’t score 83!”

So, to recap, the 7 ways Heat have been wronged so far: 1). NBA, in approving Rozier trade, did not tell Heat about ongoing feds investigation of Rozier. 2) Charlotte did not tell the Heat. 3) Miami must continue paying Rozier salary (not to Terry, but into interest bearing account). 4). Heat, so far, has been given no cap relief to replace him and continues with 13 players, minus injured guys (so 9 or 10 tonight). 5). Per Windy, Heat cannot use Rozier as salary cap ballast in trade. 6). Heat has not been given draft pick back (at this point), meaning next 4 1st rounders are frozen for trade purposes. 7). NBA hasn't voided Rozier deal (unlike Jontay Porter, who was voided by NBA before federal charges), meaning Heat has no room under tax line to sign replacement.
So apparently, not only did the Hornets know about the FBI investigation prior to the trade, the NBA itself knew, conducted their own investigation and shut Terry down for the remainder of the season in CHA, then withheld the information from the Heat in what can only be described as a coverup.
Looking more and more likely for us to either get our pick back, or some other sort of compensation. The NBA either acted with complete negligence for integrity, or actively engaged in a coverup, either way, Miami was the one who suffered from this ordeal, and deserves to be fairly reimbursed.
This isn’t the first time the league treated Miami unfairly, the latest example is when Dame asked to be traded to the Heat, a league-wide memo was issued prohibiting Dame from making team-specific trade requests. Just last year Jimmy Butler forced his way out of Miami, with what was initially a 1-Team list of the Suns. No memos issued, no fines set by the league. Reports of Jimmy and his camp calling other teams warning them not to trade for him have been confirmed and the league did absolutely nothing to stop this.
Adam Silver and friends have proven time and time again that he has chosen favorites and whether that be rich owners subverting the salary cap or joyless players forcing themselves to or from Miami, it’s hard for a Miami fan to see what’s happened and to feel like this league has any integrity towards the Heat.
BREAKING: The Miami Heat are finalizing a trade to send team president Pat Riley to the Belmont Village Senior Living home in Coral Gables, sources tell ESPN.
