The numbers tell The Big Story. Thank you @EdsonCGuido for the expertise in helping voters have a deeper & clearer understanding of the elections. The data is rich, but what do you do with it? Edson shows us the maps & together we try to make sense of it all. Glad you’re part of @News5PH
This is the modern Filipino timber - Rizome engineered bamboo, made from giant asper that grows in the PH. It matures in 3-5 yrs, vs trees w/c take 20-60 yrs. Once you cut a tree, it’s dead, while bamboo keeps on giving every year for as long as a century
✨ Good news, QCitizens! ✨
Inilunsad na ang “Kuha sa Tingi” program sa ating lungsod, sa pakikipagtulungan sa Greenpeace Philippines at Impact Hub Manila, upang makatulong sa pagtugon sa plastic pollution.
More than infrastructure spending to address flooding, we shld look at household waste & how these contribute to this urban disaster. We can throw billions into building floodways & pumping stations, but if these are blocked by plastics, it’s just public funds down the drain.
My latest #CesLaVie column on @bilyonaryo_ph is about @rizomeco - the geeen giant in Northern Mindanao planting and manufacturing the “modern Philippine timber.” If we plant giant bamboo or asper throughout the country, the Philippines has the potential to be carbon neutral.
