The absurdity of the Clancy jury voting, as you have framed it in your pantomime, is not nearly as ludicrous as your mischaracterization of Israel's self defense of its right to exist in actions against the Islamist terrorist snake pit in Gaza (funded by Iran). Israel is to be applauded and strongly supported for taking necessary action as the only U.S. ally in the middle east against demonstrably terrorist Islamist ideology, whose clear and readily illustrated ultimate Quranic dictate is to kill all who do not adhere to their belief system. Iran's objective (through proxies in the West Bank of Israel, Lebanon and elsewhere), has been to accomplish this mass extinction of civilization and civilized order, with nuclear weapons should they be allowed to develop or otherwise obtain one. Most importantly, all who support Islamist terrorists are enemies of the U.S. and should be treated as such.

This is where your reasoning deficiency and inability to think come into play. Israel was under attack by crazed blood thirsty Islamist savages (i.e. in this instance Hamas - masquerading as the fictional "palestine"). Their posture has been and continues to be one of self defense and self preservation.
