@A_Real_Hero@DivOneEsports@cesportsbeef@esportsinsider You could just call me brother. Or if a journalist wants to interview the school members I’m sure they would happily take one.
Maybe it’s not being publicly covered bc you’re hearing rumors.
Anyone have news on @DivOneEsports failure? Hear rumors at lans and conferences on how poorly run / irrelevant of a conference it was but dont see anyone publically covering it.
@cesportsbeef@esportsinsider anything ?
was notified earlier today @GGTech_gg@UniEsportsNA@RSAAOfficial stealth changed the rules regarding #CLOL and #CVAL playoff qualification to hide management's mishandling of a swiss bracket that resulted in more than 16 teams qualifying

i’m the cs2 TO for NECC
- we do regional groups to circumvent default, west coast schools are put together
- we allow rescheds to ANY day/time during the season
- being a TO is 100x more complex than you think and it takes a lot of time, effort + people to run a league
Maybe it's time to crowd source this.
What can I do to make people stop pronouncing my name like they're apologizing to me? Maybe a legal change to Scary Sari? All tips appreciated.
@HaydenKim25 I did read it!
I understand the sentiment however leagues like the Longhorn League rely on free student labor. They typically only last a short while before those running it decide it isnt worth it anymore and either new people take over or they raise prices to get staff.
📰 NEW READ 🚨
Top student-run clubs competing in CS2 have begun to move away from leagues like PCL and NECC, citing expensive league fees.

@dekkar44@lapiscosta Sounds like a good plan is for your club to meet up on Thursdays and run a few ranked games. Nobody is forcing you to play other colleges. If you want someone to organize schools together and enforce rules youre going to have to pay them.
@lapiscosta Correct. People sell candy bars or ask grandma for a donation to play sports every year. Expecting it to be free is uniquely an esports thing.
