@tatiana_ranieri i can agree to that!! And I appreciated how we were able to choose 3 out of the 5 because it really helps us manage our time and see what we enjoy writing about
And it’s great to see how far we’ve come and how much depth the movie industry has come through in history! the movies are proof that the environment can change and it’s up to us to not always fall for what’s shown on TV 2/2
I understand people can see most Disney movies as a negative and how it suppresses many new ideologies, especially for children. However we should also look at it in in a way that society has changes their perceptions and we can see this improvement through these movies 1/2
@JuliaLazaris @carineeduc307 I guess we can look at it as a sign of the times! The movies are cover 60+ years old, therefore it really demonstrates how the perception of men to women has developed and grown over time
@carineeduc307 Definitely!! But also how boys and girls are almost separated by the cinematic delivery! For example Pixar has “boy” movies and Disney is mainly princess’s for girl
Cancel culture is way too intense I find, people are so quick to attack! Imagine if this was around 20 years ago? Do you think it would still be as powerful with out the technology we have now #lesson10
