On 25 Aug, the GEO-3 satellite Eutelsat 5 West B became operational, broadcasting the EGNOS Signal-in-Space.

The new system release ensures reliable services and prepares the way for next-gen EGNOS V3.

At the end of 2024 we reached a significant milestone in making this state-of-the-art connectivity system a reality. ⤵️

As of 2:40 UTC / 4:40 CEST, EUSPA is managing 2 new Galileo satellites as part of the Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP).

The satellites were launched earlier this morning by @esa under a contract with Space X and have now reached their breathing point.

Ariane 6: Europe’s next big rocket in a nutshell

Set to liftoff next week, Ariane 6 is the newest rocket to launch Europe towards the stars.
