It has been great to welcome so many visitors to school this week to see our wonderful Art exhibition. The children from EYFS to Y6 have used recycled materials to create these fantastic displays. Super work.
Some of our Year 4s participated in the U9 Tennis Festival. They were great at supporting not just their team mates but also other players, showing the school's values of resilience & graciousness ending each game with a handshake regardless of the score.🎾
Year 3 & 4 competed in the Quadkids Athletics Competition at @StowuplandHigh last week. Our team showed determination & excellent sportsmanship, finishing 4th out of 9 teams. Thank you to the fantastic sports leaders @StowuplandHigh for their encouragement & professionalism. 👏
Year 4 are certainly enjoying Sports Week. They have tried new sports & learnt new skills. They definitely have rhythm & were all superb at Zumba & Pound Dancing. Tri-golf saw the next Rory McIlroy in the making & they learnt how to skip like a boxer. Roll on the next sport!
Year 2 started off the week with Tennis, Boccia & Zumba. Tuesday was filled with Pound dance, golf & skipping. Today Maple class have started the day with Goal ball! #SportsWeek
Cherry Tree were excited to build a bug hotel this week in #ForestSchool. They showed excellent team work working together & were excited when a spider arrived before it was finished. The tyre rope swing was also a thrilling new addition this week. (Tweet 1 of 2)
Here are Year 1 finishing their Victorian School Day off by playing some Victorian games which they had enjoyed earlier in their History of toys topic.
Year 1 enjoyed their Victorian Day today. A big thank you to parents and carers as the children's Victorian outfits were absolutely amazing - we think you'll agree they really looked the part.
