Football is actually crazy when you think about it.

Xabi Alonso and Álvaro Arbeloa were teammates at Liverpool, Real Madrid and Spain.

They won trophies together.
Played together.
Shared the dressing room.

Then they both got into coaching.
Alonso becomes Real Madrid manager.
Arbeloa eventually replaces him at Madrid.

A few months later, Alonso is at Chelsea and Arbeloa is at Fulham.
And now they're standing on opposite touchlines in a Premier League derby.

From teammates → Madrid coaches → Premier League rivals. 😭
