@ESPN_BillC Your credibility is going down the toilet. Ohio St lost by 1 AT your #2 (so +2 adjusted for HFA), and stomps Illinois and ranked Iowa on the road. Pitt beats mediocre UCF by 5 at home, was outgained 200+ by VT, and ran up the score on 2 bad teams. I used to trust your numbers.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@OrwellsBurner WTF do you know. You're the idiot who said WVU is better than Missouri. LOL! Leave ball discussion to the ball knowers, junior.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@OrwellsBurner @OxinerMike Your whole life is online, isn't it. Get out and meet some real people. Pop some of those pimples first. Man what an ugly loser.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@mikeMaher Sorry, but you can't rely on depth perception (imperfect and different in all of us) for something this close. The ref doesn't have to rely on depth perception because he's directly underneath.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@tjmcaulay Totally. People think they can rely on their depth perception for something this close - they can't. It's imperfect and different in all of us. The ref didn't have to rely on depth perception.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@Sidelines_SN No. The key is that we are all using our depth perception, which is inherently imperfect (and different in all of us). The only person who did not have to rely on depth perception was the ref.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@Fantasy_Commish @NathanTSanford No you don't. Everybody's eye/brain depth perception is different and imperfect. The only person who did not have to rely on depth perception was the ref.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@BCrawford247 You CANNOT trust your depth perception. It is imperfect in all of us. The only person there who did not have to rely on depth perception is the ref.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@BuzzPatterson Nobody can trust their imperfect depth perception. That's why the ref stands where he does, so he doesn't need to use his depth perception.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@VT4L_Joe Please don't die. You can't trust your depth perception. It is imperfect in all of us. But the ref standing directly below doesn't need to rely on depth perception.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@MikeyOver1 You can't trust your depth perception. It is imperfect in all of us. But the ref doesn't have that issue standing directly underneath.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@LangmanVince You're putting too much trust in your depth perception, which is far from perfect for any of us. The ref doesn't have that issue by standing directly underneath. I don't trust often, but I trust the call.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@KyleTuckerCBB Bottom line, everybody is judging it based on their own eye/brain depth perception, which is certainly imperfect. But the ref, standing directly below, does not have that issue. I trust it, and I don't trust a lot.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@nocontextcfb If you're dispassionate and scientific about it, the ref is the only one in the stadium who didn't have to account for imperfect depth perception.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@amyknowsball The only one in the stadium who didn't have to account for faulty depth perception.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@JagerHokie Everybody is judging with the depth perception of their own eyes'/brain. You cannot say for sure that ball has passed the goalpost yet. The refs don't have that problem from right underneath.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@mcantmiss Everybody is judging that based the depth perception of their particular eyes/brain. The refs don't have that problem from right underneath.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@ByPatForde The key to this is that everybody has to judge it based on their own eyes'/brain's depth perception. The refs don't have that problem from right underneath.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@DScottGamecocks I think it missed. But the key is that the refs are the ONLY ones who don't have to deal with judging their depth perception.

[Scott Dunham @CFBdunham]

@iam_johnw Everybody except the refs have the problem of dealing with depth perception. I trust they got it right.
