Ty Simpson received a 14 composite score on his ACT standardized test when he was in high school. His reading score fell in the 9th percentile, suggesting he probably barely knew how to read (SWIPE)

His percentile ranks in each category are as follows:
English: 10th percentile
Math: 45th percentile
Reading: 9th percentile
Science: 40th percentile
Composite: 27th percentile

Simpson however is not known for being a dumb QB, as his pre-snap recognition and post snap processing are some of his best traits.
