Chelsea 2-3 Arsenal. Two costly mistakes from our keeper handed them the win. We fought back brilliantly in the second half, but goalkeeping errors killed us. Some positives to take despite the loss: 🧵

This write-up just proved that you guys knew how greater than Messi Ronaldo was until late in his career you just didn't want to admit it. Ronaldo is already 37 years old in 2022, mate. How many of your club legends are still playing top football at that age.
One of the best decisions I’ve ever made is admitting that Messi was the GOAT in 2022.
I always knew he was the best player of all time, but Ronaldo is one of the main reasons I fell in love with football and kind of fell into that cult like mindset.
2022 really opened my eyes and being able to watch him play without any agenda is so refreshing.
He's going to score more, 21-22 by the end of this World Cup.
That will kill off any remaining GOAT debate out there. The fans of the other guy will have nothing to debate with. 🤔
@Blue_Footy No Vince. The question is is Ronaldo really the problem. You guys shouldn't let your hatred see football in another manner.
"Is Ronaldo really the problem?" Simple!
Funny thing about what this f00l is trying to protect. Bruno broke an assist record last season but couldn't create more than one big chance yesterday and you're expecting a 41 yrs old Ronaldo to be running up and down?? Is there any of your club legends that played to that age?
Ninguém me contou.
No Chelsea fan hate Messi because he barely did anything against us anytime we met , but you see those arsenal , Real Madrid and united fans , they hate him because he dragged their teams on the floor .
You don't need to foul intentionally before you receive a red card. It's about how dangerous your foul is. If this foul was committed on any Chelsea player or any of our club's player, we would be on this same Twitter crying about robbery, because it's Messi then it's not red 😂
Thierry Henry on the VAR check involving Lionel Messi:
🗣️ “I’ve seen a lot of people saying that should have been a red card, but for me, intent is very important when you analyse these situations properly.”
“When you watch it again, you can clearly see that Lionel Messi is focused on the ball and trying to make a football action, not trying to hurt anyone.”
“Yes, there is contact. Yes, it looks awkward. But not every collision is a red card.”
“That’s exactly why VAR exists — to slow everything down and determine whether there was any malicious intent or serious foul play.”
“The officials looked at it carefully and in the end didn't even believe it was worth a yellow card.”
“People are reacting because it’s Messi. If it was another player, I don't think there would be nearly as much controversy.”
“For me, it was accidental, unfortunate, and nothing more than that.”
“Football is a contact sport, and sometimes incidents look far worse in real time than they actually are.”
