Gabriel Clarke’s two interviews with Thomas Tuchel and Jude Bellingham were dreadful. Tuchel was very clear in his praise for England’s strength of character but he wasn’t happy with the performance. Clarke failed to understand Tuchel’s mentality comments. He then gave a misleading follow up to Bellingham which suggested to Bellingham that Tuchel was unhappy with the team. Unnecessarily disruptive and the wrong context of interviewing in two separate interviews.

‘Concentrate on winning a trophy that will really send a statement’ - is a message for the owners, not the fans. That trophy completed the set, it has every right to be in that banner.
Real Madrid are an example who wanted to win the CWC by signing TAA early. Chelsea’s problem is they didn’t capitalise on it. No FOS despite getting UCL and winning CWC. Recruitment to not elevate the club’s foundation of the talented pool of players we do have.
The banner is the least of Chelsea’s worries. The ones that need looking at are upstairs, not in the stands.
