@katiedimartin It's the fallacy of the heap: I could shower 5min later and it would still be ok, and I could shower 5min ater that and it would still be ok...
An infinite series of 5mins later, and I stink :-/
@LetTalkFirestar@EthanVanSciver linking this back to Millar, I can see why -maybe- he was pretty minimal and bland in how he responded to this guy. Ain't nobody got time for this!
@GailSimone I think people, -somewhat- rightly, don't want to let silence become consent.
We're just not skilled in moderating that so that it doesn't get out of control :-/
Hopefully our kids will do better
I am often surprised by polling but this one scares the shit out of me.
1 out of 5 people 18-29 believe the holocaust is a myth. How did it get to be this way?
Horseshoe Theory IRL: Holocaust denial now more common among Democrats.
Feels increasingly like we might be facing a future where the majority of the electrorate is batshit crazy and our best hope is that the batshit people are balanced out so that they don't get a majority.
@DavidMa16901372 I tell my kids: if you can follow a recipe and make cookies (or scones) from scratch, you can do pretty much anything that can be done
@JasonKPargin amen to -that-
also applies to getting people to do stuff: don't lose your shit every time there's something ELSE the could've done but didn't (because there always -is-)
Okay, I am going to share something awesome here. I am on my way to Hawaii, to https://t.co/YTDd5yliEV, and the organizer kindly sent me a bunch of local comics from local talents.
I am blown away.
I have to go quick so I can't go in-depth, but WOW.

@Zacharingi44 all this has me envisioning an "Amalgam"-style mashup of Bruce Wayne and Reed Richards: his parents were brutally murdered before his eyes as a child, but he went on to go to space and getting blasted by cosmic rays (seeing a bat fall off the first stage on liftoff)...
