🚨NEW: Kerry Kennedy has announced Late Show Host Stephen Colbert is the recipient of the 2025 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award for his advocacy for free speech and speaking truth to power.
RETWEET to congratulate Colbert on this honor!
If you honestly believe that any of the violent 1,600 rioters that stormed the Capitol and beat cops with flagpoles and fire extinguishers on January 6th deserves ONE CENT of our hard-earned tax dollars, you are a DISGRACE and an asshole.
Ella was one of the most terrified and nervious fosters I ever took on. But after building a bond and gaining her trust, she became the most loyal dog ever. Ella continues to thrive and hasn't left my side even to this day 🩷
This is China mocking the cult-like Donald Trump prayer ceremony in the White House.
Some of you really need to take a step back and realize how stupid Trump looks to people who aren’t in the cult.
BREAKING: Muliple women are reporting similar things in Texas
They’re saying that their voter registration is in “suspense” meaning somebody challenged their voter registration.
Thanks to @AshleyDCan we’re reporting this. What’s going on Texas?
🚨BREAKING: ICE agents are now threatening to arrest U.S. citizens for getting gas in their own neighborhood, in Saint Peter, Minnesota.
In the video, agents walk up to the car of a U.S. citizen.
She says, “I’m legally observing. I’m legally allowed to be here.”
The agent mutters something under his mask and she responds, “I’m legally allowed to be in my vehicle in my own neighborhood.”
He then says, “I’m not saying you’re not…”
So, if she is not doing anything illegal, why are ICE agents walking up to her car, masked and armed, threatening a U.S. citizen?
He then continues saying, “but if you follow me you are going to get arrested.”
She tells him, “I’m in my own neighborhood, at my local gas station. This is where I get gas.”
And he responds, “This is your one warning.”
Again, for what? He already admitted she hasn’t done anything illegal.
She repeats, “This is where I get gas.”
He turns around and says, “You had your one warning.”
And walks away…
Threatening arrest when someone is sitting in their own car in a public place is intimidation.
You do not lose your First Amendment rights because federal agents feel uncomfortable being watched.
Legal experts have repeatedly noted that documenting or observing government activity is generally protected speech, as long as you’re not actually interfering.
And any stop or detention still requires specific, articulable suspicion of actual illegal activity… not “you’re making us nervous.”
So, we’re now watching a pattern where community members and observers are being threaten, or detain, by ICE agents, for simply being nearby, or monitoring enforcement actions.
And that’s illegal.
ICE agents are trying to scare people out of exercising their constitutional rights in their own neighborhoods.
And once people are too afraid to watch… And too afraid to speak… the Constitution stops meaning anything at all.
BREAKING: The two federal immigration agents who fired on Minneapolis protester Alex Pretti are identified in government records as Border Patrol agent Jesus Ochoa and Customs and Border Protection officer Raymundo Gutierrez.
https://t.co/8WGMAODKRd
If I’m the officer who emptied my clip into Alex Pretti’s back, I’m starting to get worried.
Also we need to know who the agent is who clapped and celebrated as his colleague fired 4 extra shots into his lifeless body. He should never work in law enforcement again.
Agents are about to find out how far they can take Stephen Miller’s promise that they have absolute immunity.
They tried to cover it up immediately and the Minneapolis police chief refused. Witnesses have been taken to police headquarters and all available off duty police have been called to work. ICE cannot be trusted to tell the truth. Congress must act now. The Courts must stop the stupid foot dragging. Enough is enough.
🚨BREAKING: ICE agents were caught on video illegally detaining a U.S. citizen in Richfield, Minnesota.
In the video, ICE agents surround a man who is already on his knees on the pavement, with his hands raised, while agents stand over him and verify his citizenship.
This alone is a serious constitutional violation.
ICE does not have authority to detain U.S. citizens to check their immigration status.
They also do not need someone on their knees to “verify” citizenship.
And forcing someone into a compliance position on the ground without probable cause constitutes an unlawful detention under the Fourth Amendment.
After agents confirm he is a U.S. citizen, the man stands up and begins yelling… visibly angry and shaken.
The man is yelling at agents for swarming his car at gun point, a U.S. citizen, and forcing him out. Saying, “I could’ve died.”
ICE agents then try to claim it was because of his registration. A line they often use, that still doesn’t justify their actions.
What this video shows is federal agents detaining first, forcing compliance, then checking legality afterward… the opposite of how policing in a constitutional system is supposed to work.
If ICE can force a U.S. citizen to the ground over a car they happen to be driving, citizenship no longer protects you.
This isn’t a minor mistake. It’s a clear abuse of power and a violation of the Fourth Amendment, and every American should be outraged.
