@Travis_Sawchik The owners talk a good game now (while the season is on and the cash is flowing in), but they will eventually split over full sharing of local media revenue. With a game every day, there is simply too much inventory for local rights to disappear into a national deal

@HomieDudeBro78 @BBGreatMoments I doubt it. The Expos stayed in Montreal for a decade after 94 (they didn’t leave immediately after 94) and no new owner or stadium solution ever emerged. I’m Canadian, believe when I say, any stadium vote would have been overwhelming a “no” vote.

@NateTidwell86 @KyleBrandt I first watched it as a pre-teen in the 80s and didn’t fully grasp the premise. Watching years later as an adult was eye opening and a lot of fun. Pryor’s performance is really underrated.

@HomieDudeBro78 @BBGreatMoments The Expos didn’t fold. They were sold and moved to another city. And a 94 WS win would not have fixed their fundamental issues. The most likely scenario after a WS win in 94 is them selling off their stars that winter because they still couldn’t afford them
