The truth shouldn’t make people uncomfortable if they have nothing to hide.
Candace Owen’s hasn’t placed a target on any one individual’s back, in the literal sense.
If anyone feels she has done so, that’s through their own implications.
And as far as “harmful rhetoric and conspiracy theories” I’ll ask you this, and this next part is important:
How many Conspiracies are being proven in real time?
Jesus flipped the tables for a reason, remember that
@RuoccoLeon61540@StopAntisemites You sound pretty triggered to be somebody named LibTears4all
Maybe you should look into safe spaces, where everyone agrees with you and everyone’s feelings are validated.
That’s what you’re about, right?
@Stilton143@StopAntisemites Why would it be a problem at a “chicken shop” specifically? Racists love chicken!
Take it from somebody who grew up in the south with friends from all backgrounds, nobody gives a fuck enough to try to financially harm a local business for something as trivial as a pin.
@RuoccoLeon61540@StopAntisemites Lmao okay I’m a Jew hater because I think it’s in poor taste to put a business on blast for one employee’s decision to wear a pin.
What if her employer also disagrees with her views but allows her to exercise her free speech?
Should they also be penalized?
@IleaKuriakin@StopAntisemites There are many people in the world who pray for the absolute destruction of Jews. They are true antisemites.
I have Jewish friends. I have zero ill will towards Jews.
I support free speech and reject cancel culture.
Please tell me how that makes me an anti semite
@Stilton143@StopAntisemites Both are true!
One is a quiet protest, while another is calling on the masses to cancel a business for employing an individual with a differing opinion.
You’re still within your rights to do the latter, it’s just in poor taste. People are tired of cancel culture!
I can’t wait until you all see your paychecks without federal income tax (unconstitutional) withdrawn and see how much of a difference these tariffs actually make on your bottom line.
You have the choice in the market place to avoid items that will inevitably increase in price. You don’t have a choice as to whether or not you pay income tax. Avocados more expensive now? Don’t buy avocados.
Even better, why not grow the avocados here?
Also the fact that we are arguing about prices increasing due to a tariff on imported food, when Bill Gates, the Chinese Government and hedge companies are buying up record amounts of American farmland to artificially fabricate a food shortage is telling.
If you’ve ever driven from east to west coast, you immediately realize how much farm land we possess as a country. There’s no reason we can’t feed ourselves. Less restrictions on agriculture means more farming. More farming means more food.
I get your selective outrage because I was once a blue blooded liberal, not that long ago actually. You want trump to be the bad guy; it makes it easier to cope with the fact that things suck right now.
But believe me, a year from now there won’t be a question as to who our true enemy is. It’s not the democrats. It’s not the republicans.
You’ll find out soon enough.
Just sit back and enjoy the show my friend!
While that’s extremely valid and necessary for many parts of the world today, my dream is the of US (and the world by extension) takes a hard look at the numbers. There is massive capital earmarked for war.. Capital that can eradicate the conditions that breed conflict altogether. But instead war is the preferred method of “diplomacy”.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise since the US culture is mostly reactionary; we often wait for situations to escalate to a point of no return before intervening. You can see this in all facets of life, from the individual all the way to the highest levels of civic government. I just refuse to believe that this is the only solution.
I understand that there is real evil out in the world and probably always will be. This is part of the human condition.
However, I still hope for a realization that trillions of dollars spent on bombs might be better spent on bridges, roads, schools and hospitals.
Why fight constant wars if you live in a functioning society that meets the needs of its people at a basic human level?
We can all dream my friend.
