I started tech in 2018 with just a phone.
No connections. Just consistency and mindset.
That’s why I care about guiding young people early.
We overlook the power of being the voice younger people look up to.
If you can expose someone to growth, do it intentionally.
I’m back.

I’m back.
Mornings used to feel scattered
Now I keep it simple
Pick one problem
Set up my tools
Get to work
Noticed Google Meet now lets you use your phone for audio
small change but it helps a lot
This week is about doing and showing
What’s improved your mornings?
#workflow#growth
Teaching today made this clear
You don’t really understand something
until you can explain it
Stop hiding your process
Pick a problem
solve it
show how you think
That is where the real growth is
#design#creatives#growth
If AI is not the problem
then what should you learn?
One skill
Go deep
not wide
Understand how it works
then use AI to move faster
Direction first
tools later

I was improving in private and invisible in public
Everything changed when I started posting
Not because I was perfect but because I was seen
If nobody sees your work it does not exist
Post it

Speaking of intentional learning…
Not everything you consume is helping you grow.
Scrolling isn’t learning.
Watching isn’t mastering.
Saving posts isn’t applying.
The real question is:
What are you intentionally getting better at today?
#growth#ui
Unintentional learning is still learning.
I spent years sketching in the shadows, not knowing these "rough drafts" were building the foundation for how I visualize digital brands today.
Looking back, the journey wasn't a mess it was a path. Why was I so quiet about this?

i've spent the last six months building the most insane thing in my career: a new PostHog website. and in about 12 hours, i'm going to push it live.
but it's not just a redesign - it's like an operating system in the browser. the level of detail is insane. no normal company would actually let this get built - let alone be championed by the CEO.
and it's so far "out there" that i'm actually a little nervous. will it tank signups? will people be confused because it doesn't look like a website? will it be performant? will the novelty wear off too fast?
tomorrow is the day we find out.
i'd say i'll be up all night stressing about it, but after 3 straight days of 14+ hours of work, my eyes are bleeding and i actually think i'll sleep like a baby. 😅
now if you'll excuse me, i've got a laundry list of bugs to squash.
Not every project went the way I wanted.
Some clients walked away. Some deadlines I missed. Some ideas I thought were solid just didn’t land. At the time, it felt like failure.
But looking back, those “broken” projects taught me more than any success ever could.

Been away for the longest.. Been working quietly on something solid for a Lagos-based brand BarondeMusical, a company that provides premium sound and stage equipment.
We recently wrapped up their e-commerce platform, and I’ll be sharing some behind-the-scenes details. #UIDesign
