One random fact about White Sox elimination from playoff contention last night (fastest ever). The previous quickest - Orioles in 2018, played before 3rd wild card. Had that been in play, Baltimore would’ve been eliminated Aug. 24, not 21st.

@SamKuffelWx The other idea which will never gain traction is just to eliminate time zones and run everything on universal coordinated time.

That would make the latest sunset at 1:34a in Milwaukee. 😱 But events, etc, would shift to 12:01a, etc., and schools would start around 1p daily 😊
