@munson_jo @heymrsbond Non-instructional duties and scope creep are strangling the joy from the profession. I can't imagine what it's like for new teachers full of hope and energy running into the wall of things unrelated to teaching students and being expected to balance it all.

And critics may be people who didn't see a second of the performance.

On the bright side, teachers only have to do this (the entire process) 180 times per year.

Quick update on Helene response to address some concerns we're all seeing online.

Military, FEMA, blockades, gov't creating hurricanes, etc.

Bottom-line: Western North Carolina is pulling together. They need our support. This is the beginning of a long-term mission.
