I stopped reading the Politico article on Governor Gretchen Whitmer, when I came across this passage underneath photos in the middle of the story. Would anyone ever write this way about a male politician?

I'm so glad I'm not alone on this #whew #tryingmybest

Important developments just now:

@shanemassey offered a small amendment that will allow Santee Cooper to make certain changes only if approved by governor and legislative leaders.

During last recession, most courts looked other way while states cut public education & expanded charters; advocates often just held their breath. ⁦@EdLawCenter⁩ ⁦@pfpsorg⁩ are making perfectly clear what is at stake w/ TN vouchers this time. https://t.co/dq5yWzEumH

If you're looking for low stakes writing opportunities, this Reflection Menu might help. In class I asked students to choose a few and then select one to revise and submit for a grade. Lots of ways to use! Click here, then File-->Make a Copy to adapt: https://t.co/pawICkWO79
