I created something for my class that I'd like to share with other Spanish students and their teachers - but it can be easily adapted to any language or class. But the name is catchy in Spanish. It's called "Grati-tubre". #spanishteachers #langchat https://t.co/Ci2eab126y

Ss in class constantly on phones. Teachers trying to compete with TikTok, expected to perform
miracles. Everyone’s going to college. If they fail, we get a training about how anxious and traumatized Ss are. So we pass them -otherwise we aren’t caring enough. #socialpromotion 4/4

We spent 2.5 hours on lockdown and had the rest of the school day cancelled for these clowns. Priorities have changed. We don’t get to educate anymore. We are just one big messed up playground. #saveourschools 3/4

So, this is why Ss came to school? To play assassin games? What happened to Saturdays and after school? What about finals and final projects? Did any of them have their backpacks with their class work? Or just their cell phones and their fake guns ? 1/2 #stateofeducation

So… a group of students played the ‘senior assassin game’ at our school today- just two months after one of their fellow students was killed on campus after being stabbed.#collegeandcareerready 1/1

@SarahBreckley Smart phones more addictive than cigarettes ! let them use flip phones until they are 18!

Tragedy on campus. I’ve been given a script to read to students Monday morning. But I would love suggestions and advice from teachers who have been there. What to do beyond Monday? How do I get through the rest of this year with them? Students don’t feel safe. #langchat

@sonrieinspanish I would love the link, thank you for this awesome resource 🙏🏼

Searching for info on Twitter about my school's lockdown. I have heard a lot of chaos and commotion, but no gunshots. The chatter is that 2 students got stabbed in an art classroom. Stay safe, everyone. #lockdown

I am in lockdown. That is what is happening.
