Members of our group who today stood in solidarity with our Garda Siochana to observe a minute’s silence to honour Detective Garda Colm Horkan, who lost his life in the line of duty. @NAS_NL_CEO @CFRIreland

In the meantime we commend and thank all those working on the frontline in healthcare and other sectors, who can’t stay at home, including some of our members. Your work is invaluable and our community is stronger because of you.

Please note that the @AmbulanceNAS has directed all Community First Responder groups to stand down and so we will not be responding to any calls at the moment, during this public health emergency. #COVID19ireland

We know that this was a very difficult decision and we understand that it is made to protect not only our volunteers but the wider community. We hope you understand that too.

We will resume normal service as soon as it is deemed safe.
