@BulwarkOnline@SarahEMcBride Thank you @SarahEMcBride for advocating Greenland's sovereignty. As a Norwegian I first got to know you on @RestIsPolitics. Via Wikipedia I found your @HuffPost article on your wedding. It touched me deeply. Thank you for sharing this beautiful story of friendship and love
@ORGrimsson The way it's framed makes the avarage person resign and believe the outcome is inevitable. The headline could have been: "Only 15 years to prevent extreme drop in temperatures" It would give the public an understanding that something can be done.
@BBaardsen@NaessRobert Tesla utgjør en så stor del av referanseindeksen oljefondet måles mot at det er nesten umulig for dem å unngå å ha aksjer i Tesla
@nrs_ratched@KimIversenShow I'm a Norwegian and I don't want to visit the US because I don't want to risk being detained on arrival. Although the risk is low, we have seen enough examples of people who have come back to Europe after several days in detention centers. So @KimIversenShow is correct
@heydave7 I think Musk would be more successful advocating electoral reform with preferential voting and congressional districts typically being 5-8 representatives
@CrucibleOfThght I've never been able square this discrepancy between the prolife anti abortion policy and resistance towards more gun control when so many children are killed in schools. Why is the unborn life more important than kids who's alive?
@RClaussen2 @JohnMitnick Thank you for seeing trough the lies of "how far left" the Democrats are and voted for someone who will work for the people and not just for their own interest 🇺🇸
I can't claim that I understand your experience as I haven't served. My standpoint is that by standing up to Putin now, we are saving ourselves and our soldiers much more pain in the future. Nobody wants WW3. By giving concessions to Putin now, it's much more likely the next confrontation will be on NATO soil. A likely target is the Suwałki Gap in Poland/Lithuania, both NATO countries, blocking the land route from Moscow to the exclave of Kaliningrad. That would definitely be the start of WW3. By keeping the conflict inside Ukraine, the risk of escalation is lower.
The cognitive dissonans after seeing their supposedly alfa male candidate unable to muster any self-control and let himself get schooled and bated by a black woman is just unbearable. They need to find any excuse they can to explain how this could happen. To admit that they've been supporting a looser, incapable of preparation and self-control, is just too painful.
@AnsonWheat@megynkelly@ABC Trump didn't prepare and chose to front outrageous ideas instead of present his case against Kamala. That's what happens when you underestimate your opponent after having told anyone who'd listen that Harris is stupid. I guess that backfired 🤔
Did any of those questions come as a surprise to you? Harris is a prosecutor train to litigate cases in court. She did the work and prepared for a large number of questions. Trump didn't and failed miserably. Such a Beta guy unable to prepare for debate.
Having kept touting about how stupid Harris is on the campaign trial, he started to believe his own lies and underestimated his opponent.
It's convenient to blame ABC. However, it was Trump who chose to claim that babies are killed after birth, not ABC. It was Trump who chose to bring up the stories about Springfield Ohio, instead of staying on topic and present his case on the shortfalls of Harris' Immigration policy.
Stopp complaining about the network. Wake up and realize that Trump doesn't have the self control to stop himself. He ran after all the bates Kamala dangled in front of him: Crowd sizes, his inheritance, what internal leaders think of him.
I hope you have better self control than him.
Read history and you'll understand that it's just a temporary band aid that's not going to fix the underlying issue. Putin believes he has the right to control all of what was once part of the Soviet union. The world has tried to give concessions like this to megalomanian dictators in the past with disastrous consequences https://t.co/tK87CmZOeg
@RJTZ@RpsAgainstTrump@JDVance The Ukrainan people will just have the knowledge that Putin will come for the rest of them in a not to distant future, just like the Checkoslovakian people experienced in 1938. https://t.co/eeO0Asbj0i
@MayNotBeJoking@RpsAgainstTrump Exactly. Every Republican President before Trump has referred to the ghost of Munich, but Trump is just ignorant. https://t.co/eeO0Asbj0i
He believes he's being smart because he doesn't know history. The UK Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain tried the same delusional move in 1938 and failed miserably. All Republican Presidents before Trump were/are fully aware of this fact. Trump is just ignorant. https://t.co/tK87CmZOeg
@thePZZAZZ @RpsAgainstTrump He believes it's a plan. The issue is that he doesn't see that he is trying to copy Neville Chamberlain's delusional Munich Agreement which failed miserably. But what can you expect? Trump doesn't know any history https://t.co/eeO0Asbj0i
@SockDemFan@RpsAgainstTrump The UK Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain tried that in 1938 and it failed miserably. The problem now is that Trump doesn't know any history, so he's just going to do the same mistake all over again. https://t.co/eeO0Asbj0i
@RozenbergTomer@RpsAgainstTrump Indeed. He's trying to copy Neville Chamberlain's delusional "Peace in our time". That failed miserably. Trump doesn't know any history, so he's unable to see the parallel. https://t.co/eeO0Asbj0i
@Lead_Flinger @RpsAgainstTrump No, conceding to a magalomnic dictator with an ambition to claim all countries that were part of the Soviet union is stupid. It was tried in 1938 and failed big time. https://t.co/eeO0Asbj0i
