La verdad jurídica quedó establecida: Claudio Crespo me disparó y me dejó ciego. Sin embargo, esa verdad no tuvo una consecuencia proporcional.

Hoy algunos intentan instalar que Claudio Crespo es inocente. No lo es. Los tribunales establecieron quién fue el responsable de las lesiones que cambiaron mi vida para siempre. La absolución no borra la verdad ni la responsabilidad acreditada durante el proceso.

Seguiremos buscando justicia en Chile y, si es necesario, en instancias internacionales, porque este caso trasciende mi historia personal. Se trata de defender la verdad, la justicia y una democracia donde nadie esté por sobre la ley.
