The Guardian has released a major investigation on Boris Johnson’s post-politics business dealings. Last year, @arusbridger examined one particular venture involving Johnson and his former adviser Charlotte Owen: https://t.co/RtR6mETrOr
.@ZackPolanski points out that the Green Party now has a Jewish leader and a Muslim deputy leader & he says when communities ask for solidarity the only authentic response is to give it.
An entire family of 23 people was wiped out in an #Israel’i airstrike on the north #Lebanon christian village of Aito yesterday. They had fled the bombing in the south, taking refuge here. Two of them were babies. Only pieces of these human beings are left.
it’s super fun* that people working in the media industry are struggling to survive, fighting to even have pitches shot down, all while the vanity celebrity podcast industrial complex pulls another bag with a dollar sign on it out of the vaults we’re told are empty
@FootballCliches this contains extraordinary language - Philadelphia "staked" to a lead, a goal called a "netter", a hat trick "polished off", an assist becomes a "helper". Are these just Americanisms I hadn't noticed previously or something more sinister? https://t.co/EExSTmcfmC
"I was going to stand as an Independent,” said Mr Buckley. “It was only very recently when the General Election was announced that a friend suggested I look at the English Democrats" says election candidate Craig Buckley.
He might have added that his friend was in fact his nazi Patriotic Alternative boss Mark Collett, who cut a deal with Robin Tilbury, the English Democrats leader allowing PA members like Buckley to run as ED candidates with Tilbury footing the bill. Tilbury's slate of candidates contains four PA members.
In return, Collett is designing and printing election materials, and providing foot soldiers to deliver them.
It's as unstable and unholy an alliance as you could create, even out on the very far right, but for the moment it suits them all.
Buckley's claim that he is neither racist nor a neo-Nazi is laughable, coming from a fully fledged PA activist apparently unashamed of PA's previous connection with so many National Action terrorists.
