@DanMcGowan RI can't keep paying lower than the other states around us and expect to retain or hire high-quality candidates. Government salaries are not far beyond those in the private sector. The assumption that State employees don't work hard is outdated and false.

Rep. Morgan, you continue to get the facts wrong. Mail ballots ALREADY must be received by the time polls close on Election Day. RI’s new law allows for mail ballot apps. (not ballots) to be accepted within 3 days of the deadline so long as they are postmarked by the deadline.
