They also went just 1 for 9 with RISP, made some poor decisions on the basepaths, and gave up a grand slam.

Overall, not good baseball. Record is now 31-36 and riding a 3-game losing streak.

They really can’t afford to keep playing games like this if they want to be playing in October.

At the end of the night this is a bad bad baseball loss. Bad execution early in the game to put them in position for a 5 spot. Bad execution on offense to only score 2 more runs. It’s just so hard for this team to win when they can’t get out of their own way.
