When I wrote Emma’s story, my hope was to remind children, and adults too, that our greatest light comes from within. We all shine brightest when we are loved, encouraged, and shown kindness.

As Halloween approaches, I hope Emma’s message stays with you and your families. May it remind every child that being the biggest or the loudest is never what matters most. Kindness, love, and believing in yourself are the lights that shine the brightest
