Last Friday, Y1 had a brilliant time at Tate Britain! We visited paintings that we have been studying in art which look so much bigger and more colourful in real life, and then looked at lots of other interesting artworks around the gallery. These were some of our favourites....
Year 5 had a great time at the Saatchi Gallery exploring street art and culture in the exhibition "Beyond the Streets". Highlights were a record shop installation where we got to have a go at spinning some tunes and the Cosmic Cavern full of UV painted recycled toys. It was fun!
On Sunday 12 of our pupils took part in a running event at Battersea park to raise money for our school playground. We are so proud of their commitment It is not too late to sponsor them! https://t.co/HGw8s0Nkih

📣 Calling Pimlico parents & guardians! The Pimlico Children's Choir is recruiting children in Years 4, 5 and 6. It's an amazing way for your child to socialise and develop their skills under expert guidance. With big plans in the works this term, now is a perfect time to join!
Y5 had an amazing time yesterday at the National Theatre watching a children's performance of Hamlet. The trip linked to our reading in our lessons this term and really brought the play to life! The set, costumes, music and dancing were fantastic. We can't wait to come back soon!
Really special to bring together over 100 young singers for our school's singing afternoon at @SGabrielPimlico last week. Thank you to @fionafraser43 our School Programmes Manager, for all her hard work in making the event such a success. @WCPSmusic@cgpacademy @millbankacademy

Year 4 are hard at work today making paths for the vegetable garden. Rumour has it that they broke the Wick Court record , moving a whopping 45 wheelbarrows full of wood chip! #recordbreakers#FarmLife#schooljourney
We were lucky to have Hannah Peck, author of the 'Kate on the case' series come and visit. The children loved hearing how she gets ideas for her stories, learning how she uses daily objects to create her animal illustrations and getting their copies of the book signed! #WBD2023
Year 4 have been having a brilliant time so far at Wick Court Farm! They have enjoyed being out in the fresh air and meeting some of the animals. #greenery#outdoorlearning#adventure
