I can do all things with a scripture verse taken out of context.

[Chris Greaves @cgreaves72]

“The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it.” Psalm 24:1

“God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.”
C. S. Lewis

My hope is not in the new year...but in the One who makes all things new.

If we do the little things like they are the big things, then God will do the big things like they are the little things.

"Jesus Christ knows the worst about you. Nonetheless, He is the one who loves you most." AW Tozer

“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel - which means 'God with us'." (Matthew 1:23) God is not against us, He's not somewhere else, we are not alone during the difficult times of life! God is WITH us!

If the love of Jesus comes between us, then nothing can come between us.

@wjb4jc thanks for your input. I love your heart! i think, however, that this has more to do with our identity in Christ. We need to know who we are in Christ and what God has done for us. God calls us to join Him in faith filled risks instead of fearfully sitting on the sidelines.

“Cowards never won heaven. Do not claim that you are begotten of God and have His royal blood running in your veins unless you can prove your lineage by this heroic spirit: to dare to be holy in spite of men and devils.”
William Gurnall

It’s not that we’re lovable - it’s that God is love.

God’s answers are better than our prayers.

“You are only one prayer away from a dream fulfilled, a promise kept, or a miracle performed.” - Mark Batterson

If we push God to the side in our lives, then we should not be surprised if He seems far away when we look for Him.

“...if all we ever do is seek God's hand, we may miss His face; but if we seek His face, He will be glad to open His hand and satisfy the deepest desires of our hearts.” - Daniel Henderson

We start dying when we have nothing to live for.
We start living when we find something worth dying for.
