STATEMENT ON THE SIMON EKPA CASE IN FINLAND — 5TH AUGUST 2026

1. On 31 July 2026, I spoke for approximately 15 minutes with the lead legal team representing Simon Ekpa in Finland, as a follow-up to my input into the case and in my capacity as a supporting technical international law expert. We agreed that the defence team is ready to proceed.

2. For the benefit of the public, I understand that 5 August 2026 will be a preparation day, during which the defence and prosecution will work with the court to establish the timetable and procedural arrangements for the proceedings.

3. The following three days are expected to involve in-camera proceedings, during which the court will consider evidence and intelligence presented in the case. The defence team will scrutinise the reliability, provenance and admissibility of all such material. NOTE :
The OPEN SESSION FOR PUBLIC ACCORDING TO THE LEAD LAWYER will be on 10th August 2026 .

4. It is deeply troubling when intelligence or evidence presented in legal proceedings is alleged to have been politically motivated or based on inaccurate information.

5. The rule of law requires that every allegation be tested fairly and that justice be based on credible, independently verifiable evidence, not political narratives.

6. In a nutshell, the team led by the lead lawyer, Tommi, has assured me that our legal input will contribute to the defence’s efforts to challenge what we believe is a politically charged case and to establish the truth before the court.

7. I also wish to place on record that our team worked to raise concerns and prevent any unlawful attempt to remove Simon Ekpa from Finland through extradition or rendition outside the proper legal process.

8. I thank all those who approached me and contributed ideas, information and support that enabled us to act at the appropriate time.

9. Pan African Forum Ltd & Associates thanks everyone who has supported our efforts to pursue justice and uphold the rule of law.

10. Let me make one thing absolutely clear: I am not interested in political squabbles or factional politics.

11. My role is to pursue justice and to work for the release of Simon Ekpa if the court finds that the case against him is not supported by credible evidence.

12 . After that, political differences and factional disputes are for others to resolve.

Our focus is simple: due process, justice and the rule of law.

STATEMENT

MY PRIORITY: JUSTICE FOR NNAMDI KANU AND SIMON EKPA

As an international legal expert and peace advocate, my immediate priority is to pursue every lawful legal and diplomatic avenue to secure the release of Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa.

CORRUPTED INTELLIGENCE

I strongly believe that serious questions must be asked about the evidence and intelligence relied upon in these cases. Allegations of fabricated or misleading intelligence must be independently examined, and justice must not be sacrificed for political interests.

I HAVE READ THE EVIDENCE WHICH FINLAND SYSTEM FED THE COURT AND REDACTED FROM THE PUBLIC EYES 👀 FOR SECURITY REASONS -So I believe all was COOKED

NOTE :

Let us be clear: we are not interested in political side shows, personal rivalries, or leadership contests over Biafra. We are peace-makers. We do not own or command any army. Our weapons are the law, legal strategy, international advocacy, diplomacy and the pursuit of justice.

CHRISTIANS DYING

Our concern extends beyond these two cases. We also stand with innocent Nigerians, including Christians and other civilians, who continue to face killings and terrorism. Every innocent life matters, and every victim deserves justice.

DATE OF APPEAL

On 5 August 2026, I will be in Finland to provide technical and strategic support to the lead legal team representing Simon Ekpa.

At the same time, I have already engaged with new officials in London regarding the case of Nnamdi Kanu. I can confirm that there is progress.

WE USE PEACEFUL LEGAL TOOLS

The road ahead will not be easy, but I will continue to use every lawful tool available to me to pursue justice, freedom and peace.
