Just wrapped tefillin with Bill Ackman for the first time in his life, one of the world's most powerful and influential hedge fund managers and a proud Jew.

Ackman, who is the CEO of Pershing Square, has become a key voice in the fight against antisemitism and a strong defender of Israel. His late father, Larry Ackman, who passed away in 2022, often encouraged him to do more, repeatedly saying, "You're not doing enough about antisemitism." One of Larry's final letters urged Bill to take the threat of antisemitism seriously, which has become increasingly prevalent since October 7th.

Reflecting on that day, Bill remarked, "Good comes from bad. October 7th has united the global Jewish community like never before."

Slava took the mezuzah down from his barber shop after October 7th, fearing he would be a target. What happened? He was viciously attacked anyway, by an antisemitic man who stabbed him in the hand repeatedly with his own scissors, saying he was going to kill him.

@drirasavetsky has helped Slava through his physical recovery, but today we focused on his spiritual recovery, with a very special ceremony, hanging an @apeloigcollection mezuzah we gave him, back up on his doorpost.

Slava is still not able to work because of his injury. The perpetrator is in jail and the crime is being prosecuted as a hate crime. Slava was adamant the mezuzah be back in place even before he could return to work. Today he wrapped tefilin, heard the shofar, and hung the mezuzah. Slava is an inspiration to all of us with his bravery for committing to never again hide who he is. Am Yisroel Chai!
