ለስድስት ቀናት የዘለቀ እርምጃ ከተወሰደ በኋላ፣ የኦሮሞ ነጻነት ሰራዊት ኦፕሬሽን የተቀመጠለትን ዓላማ ሙሉ በሙሉ አሳክቷል።

የእገዳው ዓላማዎች ሁለት ነበሩ።

በመጀመሪያ፣ አገዛዙ ለቲያትር ምርጫው የተመካባቸውን የሰራተኞች፣ የቁሳቁስ እና ቀድሞ ምልክት የተደረገባቸውን የምርጫ ካርዶች ትራንስፖርት በመቆራረጥ፣ ዐቢይ አህመድ ያለምንም ችግር በህዝባችን ላይ ድራማ መስራት እንደማይችል ማሳየት።

ሁለተኛ፣ ሁሉንም ዋና መንገዶችን በመቆጣጠርና ሠራዊታችንን በሁሉም የኦሮሚያ ዞኖች በማንቀሳቀስ ከአገዛዙ አስተዳደራዊ እና ወታደራዊ ቁጥጥር ውጪ ያለውን ሰፊ ​​የኦሮሚያን ግዛት በቀጥታ ማሳየት ነበር።

ሁለቱም አላማዎች ሙሉ በሙሉ ተሳክተዋል።

በመኖኑም፣ ዐቢይ አህመድ ከስሌትና ሎጅክ ውጪ የሆኑ የመራጮች ቁጥር ለመጥራት እና የሟች ቤተሰብ “ሬሳ ከመቅበር ይልቅ ድምጽ ለመስጠት ተሰለፉ” የሚሉ አስነዋሪ ልብ ወለዶችን ለመሸጥ ተገድዷል። አገዛዙ የኦሮሞን ህዝብ ወይም የአለም አቀፍ ማህበረሰቡን ይቅርና የራሱን ካድሬዎችም ማታለል አልቻለም። የምርጫው ህጋዊነት እና ቅቡልነት ቀድሞውኑ የተደመመ ጉዳይ ነው። የታወጀው እገዳ ዐቢይ አህመድ ማንንም ማታለል የማችልበትን ነባራዊ ሁኔታ ፈጥሯል።

በመሆኑም እገዳው ከነገ ተዋት (ጁን 3, 2026) ጅምሮ ተነስቷል። ትግላችን ግን ይቀጥላል።
