I wonder if these people at the SEC office have considered that if they throw LSU out of the league, every single athlete on LSU's campus is going to file a class action lawsuit against the conference in a federal court in Baton Rouge claiming tortious interference, collusion, antitrust violations, racketeering and Lord knows what else.

It'll be the biggest sports litigation in America since the USFL case, if not bigger. And the facts will be decided in the Middle District of Louisiana. Probably in front of a judge who went to LSU.

This doesn't even consider LSU's own lawsuit, which will allege selective enforcement, collusion, antitrust violations and a host of other torts.

I've said all along that this isn't going to happen.

If I'm wrong, the entire status quo in college sports will unravel. All over a rule LSU didn't break.

@JonHeyman Hard to see why Abreu would hit the guy and put another man on base while still having a chance to win the game in the POSTSEASON. There were 0 outs and 2 men on base after the unfortunate incident. Just an epic collapse by the rangers.
