@Spirittravel11@elonmusk the attacker in a message to his brother admitted to it not being self defence. I don't know how much more information you need to come to a solid conclusion there you obviously want to say being are lying without looking into it yourself.
@Spirittravel11@elonmusk This isn't a court of law you don't have to wait until there is a guilty verdict but your argument isn't a good one, the facts are: He stabbed him multiple times, the evidence shows that the victim was retreating, the attackers mother tried hiding the blade,
@Spirittravel11@elonmusk He was running away because he has just been stabbed? You know running away from the guy that stabbed him like anyone would. Why don't you actually look into this murder then make your comment as you clearly have no clue what happened
@sabbathiRL@ContraTyrannis@PoliticsJOE_UK In traditional labour heartlands where people voted for Brexit the labour vote has collapsed and it has mostly gone to reform. Greens do well with the more progressive vote but not all labour voters are progressive especially in Barnsley they are a lot more socially conservative
@sabbathiRL@ContraTyrannis@PoliticsJOE_UK “75% of Labour leavers went Green” doesn’t fit the Barnsley data.
2026 projections were roughly:
Reform 41.6%
Labour 19.9%
Green 10.3%
Reform’s rise was ~4x larger than the Greens’. In ex-industrial wards like Dearne/Wombwell, the demographics align far more with Labour→Reform
@ContraTyrannis@PoliticsJOE_UK i mean you can look at the council website but let me just ask you since your claiming that reform votes aren't coming from labour where are they coming from because they have won councils they have never ran in before.
@ContraTyrannis@PoliticsJOE_UK That data isn't available from what i can find but i asked group to analyse the results from Barnsley and this is what it said, you can look on the council website if you want but it will only back up what i am saying this was a clear labour to reform switch.
@ContraTyrannis@PoliticsJOE_UK The result in Barnsley backs up what I am saying labour have clearly lost to reform here. This is a council that has always been labour and they have been wiped out
@ContraTyrannis@PoliticsJOE_UK well I can cherry pick places as well if you look at places such as Barnsley and Wakefield for example the labour vote has gone to reform. I'm not saying what she is saying is totally incorrect but you have to recognise that labour are loosing to the left and right
@DanteEr0s@p3t324@KieranCFC88 Also a lot of that sovereignty you mentioned at the end you would lose within the EU. The EU would give less of shit about scotlands voice than the UK currently does.
@DanteEr0s@p3t324@KieranCFC88 Joining the EU is not guaranteed and not the magic wand you think it is. Current estimates have that Scotland could replace 20–40% of UK trade with EU trade in 10 years so you would still lose at least 20% of your trade. Also, trade with the UK is closer and cheaper
@DanteEr0s@p3t324@KieranCFC88 About 60% of your trade also Scotland runs at a 6-10% deficit per year (GDP) on spending (This is also increasing) this gap is covered by the UK gov. If you got independence you would have to cover this gap your self with higher tax or lower spending.
@Elect_WatchUK It's quite concerning for the conservatives that reform have been facing issues in recent months yet are still failing to capitalise on it. Reforms momentum is still growing sustainably and we have some big elections in 2026.
