@willdepue@a1zhang Same energy as CoT is just “think step by step” and “ReAct is just a for-loop with tools.”
Formalizing + measuring + training for it still moves the field…
@coderabbi@theo@chiefclawofficr No. I'm not. I'm crying foul because they're gaslighting devs in their communcation about it. As if it's a good thing. It's the transparency I take fault with. It's a betrayal of trust from a company I adored.
@coderabbi@theo@chiefclawofficr Your mischaracterization of subsidization as generosity is not what you think it is.
It’s a trade, they give (gave) us cheap tokens. We gave them an ecosystem. If you do this right, you become the nation state. If you tax the tea, prepare for war.
@coderabbi@theo@chiefclawofficr That’s not generosity, it’s monopolistic behavior. To entrench and capture market. You’d have to work for their comms team to believe a statement like that.
Starting June 15, paid Claude plans can claim a dedicated monthly credit for programmatic usage.
The credit covers usage of:
- Claude Agent SDK
- claude -p
- Claude Code GitHub Actions
- Third-party apps built on the Agent SDK
If you're using Claude with Anthropic based tools (claude -p) to do anything. It's not just third party tools. There's a whole ecosystem of automation, CI/CD, and in-house tools built on the SDK that they encouraged.
/install-githup-app is now extra usage. That's insane.
Pay your subscription to have Claude write buggy code.
Pay extra usage to have Claude debug said buggy code that it wrote.
The hubris is unreal.
