A Burnham claimed yesterday that the 2016 vote for Brexit ushered in a decade of low growth.
He’s right that there’s been low growth, though not just in Britain, which suggests Brexit is not quite the explanation he thinks it is.
I think Brexiteers hard pressed to show that Brexit has been good for growth.
But Remainers lack evidence it has crippled or undermined growth.
In the decade from mid-2016 til mid-2026, the UK had the 3rd biggest growth in real GDP (13%) of the G7. Well behind the US (27%) and Canada (20%) but ahead of France (12%), Italy 10%, Germany 8%, and Japan (6%).
I think we can all agree Japan made a big mistake leaving the EU.
@osasuo just got schooled by @Sjopinion10
about states people presenting at sport events. The libtard coudn't grasp its not about the person but the statesman & therefore couldn't continue the debate. Brilliant!! And well done @piersmorgan, you got it spot on!! #talksport
@SeanKel74013109@front_ukrainian@realDonaldTrump Ok Sean… aka Warren Buffett 😂😂. And you don’t think it’ll rebound? Jeez, don’t cash ya millions out just yet. Typical liberal lefty, commenting on shit they know naff all about 😂😂😂
@SeanKel74013109@front_ukrainian@realDonaldTrump What a stupid response. They produce more therefore need to sell more. They need the affluent US mkt to grow. Last time I looked, they STILL hadnt recovered since implementing draconian lockdown restrictions! & with a local Construction Ind in turmoil, Trump has played a blinder.
@RoyMustang786 Wtf are you talking about? City wouldn’t have sold Palmer to United. You’re taking absolute shite. Get back to waving ya Palestinian flag ya clown.
ANDREW PIERCE: Labour's Angela Rayner left red-faced over company loss - they can’t run their own finances correctly - God help us if they get their hands on the public finances again! https://t.co/MvNzUlOOPa via @MailOnline
@AndyBurnhamGM What a cockwomble. So he thinks ppl would have worn masks over summer & autumn for this eventuality. Plus be double jabbed? @AndyBurnhamGM is completely inept.

NEW: today’s update of UK vaccine effect
Safe to say the effect on cases has moved from "maybe" to "definitely" 💉📉💪😀
As predicted, that has been driven by a slowdown in the rate of decrease among unvaccinated groups, while rates among vaccinated keep marching downwards
In a country already awash with anti-vaxxers, President Macron’s questioning, in a fit of pique, of the effectiveness of the AstraZeneca vaccine, on no scientific basis whatsoever, plumbs the depths of irresponsibility.
As Jeremy Corbyn is suspended from the Labour Party Diane Abbot, Len Maclusky and John MacDonald come out fighting in his defence. They rise to the top like the most buoyant turds in the chamber pot, one and all
When it comes to the EU the British media’s general default position is to treat anything UK government does as a deceit/lie/obfuscation/matter for ridicule, while treating anything out of Brussels as gospel. When did you last see a Barnier-type given a tough interview?
