Today I watched the county commission meeting via zoom, been doing that more lately. I’ll go thru notes and rewatch key points again, all so you don’t have to. Story coming to the Kansan later.

One week ago I listened to public comment at a county meeting calling for the firing of two county employees. All in open session. Today their defenders made their appearance. Again, all in open session.
County government can be a hotbed of stories.

@VesperAegis @cnnbrk For the record, in Kansas the state constitution (article 6) does not give legislature curriculum authority. They only get to pay the bill. State board of ed sets standards. The details of curriculum and how its delivered is the local BOE responsiblity.
