The Battle of @BentonvilleSHS began #OTD in 1865. It was the final full-scale battle between Joseph E. Johnston's Army of the South and Gen. William T. Sherman's Military Division of the Mississippi before the #CivilWar ended less than a month later.
Check out our next exciting video "Wounds of an Unusually Grave Character" and hear about the surgeons and the 'brutal craft' they practiced on wounded soldiers treated at Bentonville.
