@TomiCaws I don't have a problem with people using the English term for y Bannau, similarly to how I use Llundain for London when speaking Welsh. However Sunak is in a position of power and should use the official name. He wouldn't call Buckingham palace "Buck house" in a formal setting

@charlotte_evs I think they probably feel that their Welshness is being questioned and I think we should be aware of that. It's their heritage as well and if we alienate people it won't be a good thing. Saying all that it's high time this was done, bring on further protection for Welsh names

@cymrogav please can you do a podcast on national anthems? Specifically I'd like an investigation into exactly when did Wales start ascending in pitch on "o bydded i'r hen iaith barhau" rather than descending. I feel it was around 2003 this started to happen. Diolch

Gwyndolin never had statues as he was born favouring the moon and so Gwyn didn't really acknowledge him and hid him from view

So means parish at the top end of the lake. Lake in question being Llyn Tegid
