The Michigan State senior, who hails from Williamston, a farm town in Michigan, is a walk-on from Ferris State, who spent two years at Ferris before make the All-Big Ten second team last season.

Said Spartans head coach Casey Lubhan: "Without a doubt, the easiest kid to coach ever."

Bond will play Tennessee's Jackson Herrington in the Round of 16 this afternoon at #USAmateur.
