@nyanukeanu I've been enjoying bluesky for the last couple days. Loads more people are on it and it's pretty chill. There's a browser extension called sky follower bridge that will make it easy to find people from your following list on Twitter and follow them on bluesky.

@PcPhilanthropy Hot take but I kinda prefer this. Even the most generic beige cases have skyrocketed in price from sleeper builds and resellers jacking up prices for collectors. This doesn't contribute to that. I wouldn't mind if the cases alone were available to buy to put old systems in.

@Gammitin We were a nero household. I remember my dad shelled out for a DVD burner for the family PC. He even mod chipped our PS2 early on. Extended family had them too. At family gatherings it'd be like "Hey those are cool movies/games! Can you make me a copy?" & we exchanged bootlegs. 😆

@ActionRetro1 I was rewatching your iMac g3 videos & it got me thinking. The Wii is very similar to the g3 and has Linux support. I know it's a little outside what you normally do since it's not an apple or other vintage machine but I feel like you could have some fun with it.

@Gammitin Dreamcasts are an easy fix. If you get one with dead controller ports it's probably a small fuse that's easy to trip. There are cheap kits with a better fuse replacement and a cr2032 holder replacement for the soldered on clock battery.
