Israel has reached understandings with the US military to accelerate the evacuation of American military aircraft stationed at Ben Gurion Airport, Israeli media reported Friday.

🇴🇲 Oman said future arrangements for navigation through the Strait of Hormuz will not include transit fees

🔸 Omani FM Badr Albusaidi made the announcement during a joint ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the United States in Manama, Bahrain. He said Oman, which borders the strait, has a special responsibility to support international efforts to safeguard maritime navigation in accordance with international law and the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.

🔸 U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio told the meeting that “no country on Earth has the right to charge for the use of international waterways,” Reuters reported, adding that fees or tolls for shipping would not be part of any deal, a key Iranian demand.

🔸 Also today, Albusaidi and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a phone call to review maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz and temporary navigation arrangements planned for the 60-day implementation period.

🔸 According to Iran’s Foreign Ministry, the two sides stressed continued bilateral consultations, technical coordination, and expert-level engagement to facilitate shipping and address potential issues. They also welcomed the outcome of a recent Iranian delegation’s visit to Muscat and agreed to continue diplomatic coordination on issues of mutual interest.

BREAKING: Iran directly rejects Pakistan’s claim that Iran and the US have reached an agreement to lower Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile, saying the nuclear file is not even on the agenda for this round of talks in Switzerland or any later round until the US implements all of its commitments, and none of the nuclear committee members are part of the Iranian delegation, per Fars.
