@coreypronman What do the forwards after Celebrini and Demidov in this 2024 draft class lack compared to the 2023 class? Is it pure skill, size or something else? I don’t see a Perreault type of player who dropped last year as an example, he would be a top 10 pick this year. What’s missing?
@JesseGranger_ Thanks for that, really enjoy your work on the @TheAthletic podcasts and figured I would ask you directly. Does he have a role this year or next year where he can stay on the roster?
@JesseGranger_ how does Brisson look playing with Karlsson? Does he have a shot at staying once Dorofeyev returns? The prospect rollup had some mixed messages but if he’s playing with WK it seems he must be playing with some compete?
@AvsRobin It feels like the only reason is because they think Frankie can carry them through playoffs if necessary. And only need Georgiev to be that good. It’s a risk for sure, but they’ve been hitting on almost all their risks recently
Cale Makar might win the Norris tonight. But before he started playing in the AJHL, he was an unknown in the hockey world.
That changed when he joined the @BrooksBandits. A look at his time there, which included Subway meals, pucks stuck in nets + more:

@theTonyFerrari I noticed there weren’t any players from the AJHL. How about a kid like Bowden Singleton, he’s played very well for Okotoks this year, going to ND next year. Not the biggest kid but worth a look?
@JFreshHockey I don’t know profiting off a missing MacKinnon makes what Makar is doing less? It should be that much more? Plus playing all situations and actually scoring those goals as well. Feels like this should be HM and room to go up
