@the_heckboy@Skinuardo@volcaholic1 All of that applies to oil drilling and refining too, except they also burn oil to produce energy and you can only burn oil once before you need to get more of it.
Everything except the blades in a windmill is recycled, which is about 80% recapture in total.
@the_heckboy@Skinuardo@volcaholic1 So both use a lot in making and transporting it, but one burns it’s product for it to never be used again while the other can just keep reusing the same resource. Seems like one is renewable and the other isn’t.
@CraigJones62051@DuckieLouise I didn’t realize thst every person I encounter speeding in the morning is traveling 350 miles. They should live closer to work.
@DaSilvaBeat@adammocklerr You got a name of one by chance? I spent quite a bit of time going through small towns in TX when I was a mover and when I worked on waste water treatment plants.
@DaSilvaBeat@adammocklerr Show me a city of more than 10k people that has a quality of life at least equal to a normal US city that has a local population of more than 20%. By your definition, they need to either be related to or have an affinity of the founders of the city.
@DaSilvaBeat@adammocklerr Being related to the founders of an area are a prerequisite for being a local is an almost impossible feat for almost anywhere in the world.
My family has been in the Austin area since 1865, which wouldn’t qualify us as locals, apparently.
@DaSilvaBeat@adammocklerr Can government not be local as well? Do local people not voluntarily join local governments? This wasn’t a federal program, it was a NY program ran by people in NY for people in NY.
‘Of the people, by the people, for the people.
@DaSilvaBeat@adammocklerr “We should hope that people are kind enough to donate instead of utilizing the structures we set up and vote on to keep kids from going hungry” - this guy
@OceanicPulse@nicefriend67 I got to the end of Nibelheim after 100hrs and more quests popped up in every zone and I just couldn’t anymore. I know it’s optional, but man sometimes it’s too much content.
